    You can even BUILD muscle WHILE losing fat. If you’re eating enough carbohydrates, your body will use that, along with stored calories (body fat) to get you thru your? day, leaving the protein available to synthesize muscle. You can’t learn that from just anybody!

    @mclovinfool Even Scooby realizes the bulking myth!!! Really,…fat gain/loss is controlled by calories, muscle growth? is a result of training with progressive resistance in the gym.I WISH building muscle were as easy as having a few pieces of chicken or a couple bites of potato, but it is not. If it were, I’d just eat like a pig for a year and spend the next few months losing the fat. But it doesn’t work that way unfortunately:(

    Ever hear of Mark Rippletoe? He is a well known strength coach and known for putting size on skinny guys, He coaches the big lifts and encourages drinking milk to help? gain weight. I really wish you would show me one article that goes against this bulking myth please respond back if you have one.

    As you said a hard gainer usually has lower protein needs, well a hard gainer bulking sure wont, there are also tests that prove people with more fat can gain muscle more effectively then lean people, search for it, and im sorry a half gallon of milk a day is 64 protein and 1000 calories thats no where near what hard gainers need and? its just a good strategy for them, Also your scrawny looking at your pick maybe you should look into these bulks that are myths, Vince clearly supports this.

    @mclovinfool That is unfortunately a bodybuilding myth from the year 1940s. “Bulking” is such an outdated idea,…it’s not? even worth discussing. Muscle and fat are completely different. Fat is gained/lost as a result of a caloric surplus/deficit. Muscle growth is an adaption process. A “hard gainer” is usually someone who is usually not training intensely or effectively. “Protein needs” are lower than you think. Don’t believe everything supplement companies tell you. Hope you get the message.

    you have to put on fat to bulk? and gain some milk is very good way for a hard gainer to get calories and the protein he needs. Clean stay lean bulks don’t do near as good as a bulk that gains a little extra fat. Hope you get the message.

    Squats, Deadlift, Bench Press. The only 3 exercises you ever need to build muscle. And a gallon of milk a day. ;) If you want to get really big (and I don’t just mean muscle either) then you can throw in a tub or two of chocolate fudge ice-cream? each night.

    Don’t forget to drink at least 1/2 gallon of milk a day. You will get strong, but you won’t get big without? a decent diet.

    wow you guys are so fucking stupid.. ive put on mean muscle following vinces programs.. if ya wanna get big quick, do compound exercises with a barbell.. thats all you need. Plus lifting weights isn’t even? half of it, diet and rest are just as if not more important.

    or just 3×5 squat 2×5 deadlift? and get twice as strong and big… beside the bulgarian spit squats this is pretty useless even as accessory lifts

    not everyone follows? a weekly plan, some fitness professionals and bodybuilders follow a 10day training plan.

    eh, It doesn’t seem like its his main program. As for Vince being scrawny…have you seen? the average man in America? Either bloated and fat or, rarely, very skinny. Men in good shape are not so common anymore, mate.
